Big Blade is an enclosure system for large heat pumps. An internal load-bearing stainless steel frame supports the external aluminium composite ACP cladding. Frame, supports, fixings and access to the unit are designed together.
Freestanding on the ground. For installations away from the façade, with ground supports and a rear closure as specified for the configuration.
In the freestanding configuration specified by the design, shell or half-shell sections can be opened or separated to reach the unit from the front and rear. Access depends on the version; installations against a wall also require available rear clearance to be checked.

Big Blade freestanding: technical protection for large heat pumps
Big Blade is designed for large heat pumps and HVAC outdoor units where a standard cover is not enough. The freestanding floor-mounted version is intended for slabs, foundations, technical terraces and outdoor areas away from the wall.
Concealed 316 stainless-steel frame
The load-bearing structure is made from 316 stainless steel and remains hidden from view. Formed outer panels are mechanically clamped to the frame with stainless-steel screws and self-locking nuts. Folds, frame and clamping work together to reduce play and vibration.
3 mm ACP aluminium composite panels
The outer panels are made from 3 mm ACP aluminium composite. They are CNC cut, routed, drilled and formed. The folded geometry increases stiffness and creates a repeatable, stable structure.
Adjustable ventilation
The surfaces use manually adjustable louvers from about 0° to 90° so the free airflow area can be adapted to the installation. The selected size and position must always respect the heat-pump manufacturer’s technical clearances.
On selected configurations an elastomeric airflow-separation system can help limit unwanted recirculation from the discharge zone back toward the intake zone.
Structural floor supports
The feet are structural components, not decorative accessories. Each support uses a stainless-steel element with a threaded connector and adjustable foot. Depending on the installation, the structure can be anchored to slabs or foundations or used with suitable technical supports.
Maintenance access
Larger versions can use shell or half-shell configurations. Sections can be separated by loosening a limited number of fixings so cleaning, maintenance and service remain accessible.
Protection from direct exposure
Big Blade reduces direct exposure to sun, driving rain, snow, hail, dirt, leaves and light impacts. In coastal areas, the physical barrier and 316 stainless-steel frame also help reduce direct exposure to salt-laden aerosols. It is not presented as a sealed enclosure or a certified safety device.
