Big Blade for large heat pumps
BIG BLADE / BOX AIR KLIMA
Large formats.
A carefully designed structure.
Big Blade is an enclosure system for large heat pumps. An internal load-bearing stainless steel frame supports the external aluminium composite ACP cladding. Frame, supports, fixings and access to the unit are designed together.

Three installations. One construction principle.
01
Wall-mounted
For wall installations, with fixings selected to suit the supporting surface.
Choose the installation02
On the ground against a wall
The enclosure rests on the ground beside the façade; rear clearance and connections must be checked.
Choose the installation03
Freestanding on the ground
For installations away from the façade, with ground supports and a rear closure as specified for the configuration.
Choose the installationHow does it differ from a cover for an air conditioner?
Covers for air conditioners meet the needs of compact units. Big Blade uses a construction designed for larger formats: internal frame, ACP panels, supports and fixings form one system. The choice depends on the unit and installation, as well as its size.
Load-bearing stainless steel frame
Stainless steel forms the load-bearing framework of the enclosure. ACP cladding defines its outer shape and screening. The panels are aluminium composite; the frame is stainless steel. Separating these functions helps organise large surfaces and service access.
Large formats, including tall units
The range includes XL, XXL, 3XL, 5XL, VL and VXL. Usable space, overall dimensions and supports depend on the installation. Check the product sheet for the selected version. Special requirements can be assessed as a project.
Access to the unit for servicing
In the freestanding configuration specified by the design, shell or half-shell sections can be opened or separated to reach the unit from the front and rear. Access depends on the version; installations against a wall also require available rear clearance to be checked.
VXL technical render: transparency explains the construction; the finished product is not transparent.
