Do you have a wallbox or are you about to install one? Protect it from the start, including at the front. Crystal Shell adds a tinted-polycarbonate top and front screen while leaving the sides open for natural ventilation and access to the device.

Protection starts with the exposed surface
Look at where sun and rain reach your installation. A canopy mainly acts from above; a front screen adds shelter in front of the wallbox. Crystal Shell was created for this second need: reducing direct exposure on the covered surfaces without turning the charger into a closed box.
An open, ventilated cover
The right and left sides remain open. The space around the wallbox allows airflow and, depending on the model, access to side controls and connections. The bottom opening leaves room to organise the cable route. The connector’s stored position must remain within the sheltered area to benefit from the shielding.
Existing wall or support to be prepared
The cover can be added around an already installed wallbox after checking clearances and fixings. The supplied rear panel also allows installation on a suitable support to be planned. Details to know before ordering
- 3 mm polycarbonate with UV protection on both sides.
- External dimensions: 36 × 45 × 29 cm. The polycarbonate is 3 mm thick; usable internal space must be assessed by considering this thickness, the fixing points, the connector and cable route.
- Composite-aluminium supporting frame, rear panel, wall-fixing kit and seals; stainless-steel screws for assembly.
- Finished edges with reinforced seal and protection at the designated contact points.
Which protection should you choose?
Wallbox Cover provides top and side shielding with an open front. Cover Plus adds a 10 cm rear technical compartment. Crystal Shell also brings shielding to the front. Start from the position of your wallbox, then compare shape, dimensions and accessibility.
Frequently asked questions
Must the wallbox already be installed?
No. You can plan the protection during a new installation or add it later after checking dimensions and fixings.
Does Crystal Shell actively cool the wallbox or prevent frost?
No. It is a ventilated shield without refrigeration or heating. It does not change the wallbox IP rating or operating limits.
How do I check whether it fits my model?
Measure the device, socket, inserted plug and cable bends; also check the display, doors and clearances required by the manufacturer. Use the measurement guide and compare the product sheet.

Evening lighting as a service accessory
Crystal Shell can be prepared to integrate a service light in the wallbox area. The benefit is practical: when you arrive home in the evening, the cable, connector and connection area are easier to see.
The sensor LED lamp is a separate third-party component. It is not included and is not certified by M2 Work / Box Air Klima.
