With Box Air Klima
3 reasons why our cover makes a real difference

For an outdoor unit that breathes better and lasts longer
Unlike many generic covers, our system is designed to protect your heat pump—not just conceal it.
It blocks dust, leaves, and debris that would otherwise accumulate over time, reducing efficiency and increasing the need for maintenance—without compromising ventilation. Every element of the design works in harmony with the unit, respecting its natural airflow.
Fins on all sides direct warm air outward, preventing harmful backflow toward the motor. Two top openings—one at the front and one at the back—allow fresh air in and let warm air escape upward. The entire structure is also raised off the ground to promote airflow from below.

The reassurance of solid protection, without the extra weight
Not only does it shield against impacts and hail—it also softens the noise on rainy days.
Our composite aluminum cladding is built to offer real, long-lasting protection while remaining lightweight. Two aluminum sheets enclose a rigid core that absorbs knocks, pressure, and impacts without deforming—ideal against footballs, garden tools, household work, as well as hail and wind-blown debris. It helps your air conditioner last longer, lowers the risk of breakdowns, and cuts down on frequent maintenance.
This structure also acts as a sound shield: it protects the outdoor unit without weighing down the bracket or the wall, and it reduces the noise caused by wind and rain hitting the system—improving acoustic comfort both indoors and out.
Protect your investment from heat, UV rays, rain, and frost
A cover that defends your unit over time—preventing damage, inefficiency, extra costs, and future headaches.
Weather is your outdoor unit’s worst enemy. UV rays break down plastics and surfaces, direct sun raises internal temperatures—reducing performance and increasing energy bills. Rain causes rust and corrosion, while frost and snow put stress on seals and circuits. Even humidity and daily temperature swings silently age your system day by day.
Our cover offers full protection: it reflects heat, blocks UV rays, prevents water buildup, and shields the unit from extreme weather. That means fewer breakdowns—and more efficiency, season after season.

The design that sets us apart across Europe
Every Box Air Klima cover is the result of a project that combines aesthetic appeal, functionality, and real performance. It's not just about “covering” a unit—it's about enhancing it, protecting it, and making it part of the space.
That’s why our design is officially registered with the EUIPO, the European Union Intellectual Property Office. This recognition not only protects the unique look of our forms, but also acknowledges the functional ingenuity behind them: clean lines, ventilation-friendly openings, and balanced volumes that shield without obstructing.
It’s not just a detail—it’s a guarantee that behind every cover there’s a clear, purposeful idea, designed to last and improve the user experience over time. A design that wins you over at first glance—and keeps doing so, even after years of sun and rain.
Where is your unit installed?
Not all heat pumps are installed the same way. That’s why we’ve developed three distinct models, tailored to fit your system’s position: wall-mounted, floor-mounted against the wall, or free-standing on the ground.

The risks of not using a cover
Did you know even heat pump manuals warn about this?
Heat pump manufacturers clearly state that units should be installed in protected areas, away from corrosive elements like sea salt. Ignoring these warnings can lead to premature wear of key components, higher energy costs, and declining performance over time. With a proper cover, you protect your unit from the elements without compromising its functionality—a simple investment that safeguards efficiency, durability, and your peace of mind.

FAQ
We answer your most common questions—clearly and directly.
Is it true that heat pumps can get damaged if left uncovered?
Yes—it’s even stated in the manual.
Heat pumps are exposed daily to rain, hail, wind, dust, debris, UV rays, and frost. Without proper protection, these elements can cause early wear, malfunctions, or loss of efficiency.
A well-designed cover is a simple way to protect your system and make it last longer.
How is it installed? Can I do it myself?
Installation is generally simple: the cover arrives pre-assembled, with clear instructions and all the necessary components.
Heat pump covers are quite large, so for a smooth and safe setup, we recommend two people.
For wall-mounting, the choice of screws and plugs depends on the surface material (wood, concrete, insulation, ventilated cladding, etc.). Just ask your local hardware store—they’ll advise you on the right fixings.
Does covering the heat pump reduce its efficiency?
Quite the opposite.
Our covers are engineered to protect without interfering with performance.
The ventilation system is precisely designed and registered with the EUIPO, ensuring optimal airflow.
In summer, shielding the unit from direct sun helps prevent overheating and improves performance during peak demand. In dusty or windy environments, the structure helps keep filters and vents cleaner, allowing for consistent airflow.
This balance between protection and ventilation keeps your system running efficiently, reduces thermal stress, and helps you save on energy bills.
How do I know if the cover fits my heat pump?
On each product page, you’ll find all the internal and external dimensions.
Our available sizes fit most systems on the market.
Is your heat pump very compact? It may fit one of our air conditioner covers—check out that dedicated section.
For non-standard sizes, contact us: we also offer custom configurations.
What if I need access to the unit for maintenance?
The cover is designed to be easily removable: you can unclip and lift it without disassembling anything. In just a few minutes, you’ll have full access to the unit—no hassle.
Can I customize the color or size?
Yes. All Box Air Klima covers can be painted at home—in that case, we recommend ordering the white version.
For special orders or aesthetic needs, we also offer custom solutions: colors, finishes, and non-standard sizes. Contact us to find the best option.
How does shipping work?
We ship throughout the European Union with selected couriers, within 14 days, except in special cases. As soon as your order leaves the warehouse, you’ll receive a tracking code to follow the shipment. Shipping costs are €14.99 for Italy and €19.99 for the rest of the EU.
Depending on the size, the shipping method varies.
Want to order size VXL or 3XL?
The larger sizes (VXL and 3XL) are shipped fully assembled, ready for installation — you just need to be ready to receive them properly: since these are bulky and heavy products, they are delivered on pallets, with tail-lift unloading. Be prepared for delivery like this:
- Make sure you’re present at the time of delivery
- Arrange for a second person to help with handling
- Provide a free and accessible space for unloading
If no one is present at the time of delivery, a new delivery will be necessary — that’s why it’s important to be ready.
Want to order size XL, XXL or VL?
All other sizes are shipped partially assembled, in flat packages that are easy to handle. In this case, delivery is via standard courier.
You’ll receive simple instructions to complete the assembly on your own. Due to the size of the covers, we recommend having two people.
What if the product doesn’t fit?
You have 14 days to return it. Just contact us—we’ll guide you step by step.
If the issue is our fault or the product is defective, the replacement is free.
