Big Blade is an enclosure system for large heat pumps. An internal load-bearing stainless steel frame supports the external aluminium composite ACP cladding. Frame, supports, fixings and access to the unit are designed together.

Stainless steel forms the load-bearing framework of the enclosure. ACP cladding defines its outer shape and screening. The panels are aluminium composite; the frame is stainless steel. Separating these functions helps organise large surfaces and service access.
Designed with servicing in mind
In the freestanding configuration specified by the design, shell or half-shell sections can be opened or separated to reach the unit from the front and rear. Access depends on the version; installations against a wall also require available rear clearance to be checked.

The range includes XL, XXL, 3XL, 5XL, VL and VXL. Usable space, overall dimensions and supports depend on the installation. Check the product sheet for the selected version. Special requirements can be assessed as a project.
Stainless steel and coastal installations
The stainless steel frame is part of the construction approach to outdoor durability. In coastal settings, materials and maintenance should be assessed together with the level of salt exposure.

Is the cladding made of steel?
No. The cladding is aluminium composite ACP; the internal load-bearing frame is stainless steel.
Does the frame support the heat pump?
The frame supports the enclosure. Supporting the unit itself requires a specific provision in the design.
Can the freestanding version be accessed from the rear?
Yes, where the design specifies rear sections that open or separate. Installations against a wall require rear clearance to be checked.
How do I choose the size and installation?
Send the model, front and side photos, overall dimensions, pipe positions and available space. Respect the unit manufacturer’s airflow and servicing clearances.
